About the Map
Following the inaugural Russian Heritage Week in 2018, Russian Club volunteers got together with local Brisbane Russian history enthusiast Constantin Drozdovskii, and Viktoria Smolina (author of “Carved in the Stone” an excellent account of Russian history in Australia) to create the Russian Heritage Map of Brisbane. Special thanks to Dr Maria Kravchenko for her essay on the History of Russians in Brisbane and again to Victoria Smolina for her excellent work “Carved in the Stone” available at the State Library of QLD.
